Colette Hinckley '09: I am so excited for the opportunity to devote more energy to The Seneca as a member of the Grad Board. After graduating in 2009, I moved back to San Francisco to be closer to family and friends. While I have spent time in education with Teach For America, and adventure travel with Backroads, I am now happily settled into the start-up world at Yammer. When I'm not at the office, I can be found perusing the neighborhoods of SF or driving to the mountains for some hiking and skiing!

 

 

 

Kieran Shanahan '07: Since graduating in 2007, I've enjoyed staying connected with inspiring Seneca undergrads and alums while living in New York and, most recently, Chicago.  I work in management consulting and spend my free time singing, traveling and trying new foods.  I'm thrilled to be joining the Grad Board!

The movie explores the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America, and challenges the media's limited portrayal of what it means to be a powerful woman. It was very inspiring and initiated some very interesting conversations. Highly recommend watching!



]]>Seneca Summer Sync 2011http://www.theseneca.org/whats-new/2011/9/1/seneca-summer-sync-2011.htmlThe Seneca, Inc.2011-09-01T13:24:11Z2011-09-01T13:24:11ZOn Thursday, July 21 The Seneca held its annual Seneca Summer Sync (or S3).  This year we hosted simultaneous cocktail parties in six cities across the United State: Boston, New York, DC, Chicago, LA and San Francisco.

It was a fun-filled evening that provided the opportunity to reunite with old Seneca friends, and also to meet new ones! We'd like to give a BIG thank-you to all of our gracious hostesses for making S3 possible, and to Allidah Muller ('05) for orchestrating everything.
