Through weekly meetings and rigorous effort, the Development/RE committee is responsible for mass mailings, newsletters, pamphlets, grant proposals, researching and contacting potential supporters, and advertisements (in publications such as Harvard Magazine.) The committee's efforts are largely focused on The Seneca Capital Campaign, which aims to raise funds to secure long-term ownership of a house for The Seneca in Harvard Square. Once we have found a house for The Seneca, the committee will be in charge of its upkeep and administration. As having a house is one of the most important goals for The Seneca in achieving our mission, this committee is extremely vital in shaping the future of the organization as well as the Harvard community.
